With UK artist Lil Silva's production work set to appear on Banks's upcoming Goddess, it should come as no surprise that the R&B singer will be lending a hand to a couple of tracks on her friend's upcoming EP, Mabel.
The five-song set drops August 5 through True Panther/Good Years, with a press release explaining that the 24-year-old producer prepped the set in Bedford, London and Los Angeles. While 2012's Patience EP had Silva bringing in Sampha as a collaborator, the musician's own "warm and rich" vocals are joined by Banks on two tracks from Mabel. "Right for You" is described as a "slow jam duet about seeing a woman with the wrong man," while they also team up on "Don't You Love"
Before those collaborations are unveiled, you can check out Lil Silva singing solo atop the spectral R&B boom of Mabel's title track. You'll find a stream of the song beneath the EP's tracklisting.
Mabel:
1. First Mark
2. Kimmy
3. Don't You Love (ft. Banks)
4. Mabel
5. Right For You (ft. Banks)
