Considering the all-out assault that Lil Kim laid out on Nicki Minaj via the diss track "Black Friday" last week, there's a lot of buzz surrounding the self-proclaimed "Queen Bee." In order to capitalize on the controversial cut, which labelled "it girl" Minaj a clown and a copycat, Lil Kim is reportedly putting together a new album.
According to All Hip Hop, Kim is currently prepping a follow-up to her classic 1996 debut Hardcore. Rumoured to be titled Hard Core 2: All Hail the Queen, the album is said to feature production from the Neptunes and The-Dream.
"Right now, she is reportedly working with Polow Da Don, Will.I.Am and others to get that old thing back and I'm sure to shut up Nicki too," All Hip Hop reported.
There is no official word from Lil Kim's camp about the project, but even the concept of a new album coming from the rhymer is welcome news.
