The last time Montreal sound-shaper Kyle Bobby Dunn released a video from his impending triple-LP Kyle Bobby Dunn & the Infinite Sadness, it was a decidedly DIY affair. His new clip for "Spem in Alium & Her Unable," however, is beautifully cinematic.
It stars Singapore actress Jun Koh, who appears as a bored office worker. Her over-enthusiastic colleague advises her to listen to Dunn, and as soon as she puts on the headphones, she is transported to a world of awestruck wonder, beautiful scenery and slow motion dancing. It was directed by Joey Bania.
The official release date for Kyle Bobby Dunn & the Infinite Sadness has been pushed back to June 10. It's available to pre-order now; various links can be found at the artist's Facebook page.
UPDATE: Kyle Bobby Dunn will play as part of Montreal's Suoni Per Il Popolo event on June 25. You can get all the details here.
