Despite only receiving 60,000 votes across 12 states in 2020, Kanye West seems to be planning another run for US President in 2024. If that wasn't bad enough, this time he's getting a little help from alt-right political commentator Milo Yiannopolis.
A video that surfaced yesterday (November 21) shows West entering one of his offices with Yiannopolis and introducing him to the cameraman. "This is Milo right here, working on the campaign," he said.
Ye then turns to Yiannopolis and asks, "Is that an announcement?" to which he responds, "I guess it is. Thanks, I accept." Another clip shows the inside of the office, where numerous people are working and merch that reads "YE24" is being manufactured. When the cameraman directly asked if he'll be running for president, the rapper hesitates for a moment and then answers, "Yes."
"It's simple 'cause ain't nobody can tell me, you know, 'You should say this, you shouldn't say that,' you know? It's just we're moving towards the future," he continued.
It goes without saying it makes sense that West has teamed up with Yiannopolis for his latest presidential bid, considering his anti-abortion and antisemitic stances. While he initially stated he would run again after tanking in the 2020 election, this is the first time it's been confirmed.
Considering he'll be running against his associate Donald Trump again, only time will uncover the dynamics of the cursed pairing-turned-rivals.
