Jimmy Rankin didn't release an album in 2013, but last year's holiday-themed Tinsel Town LP will soon be seasonally appropriate once again, as Rankin will be making his way through Canada on tour this November and December on a "holiday tour."
The outing kicks off in the Maritimes in November. From there, Rankin will play a number of East Coast dates before heading out to the Prairies in early December. He will then backtrack to Ontario to play a number of gigs, ultimately wrapping up in Windsor on December 21.
A press release promises that these shows will offer "a classic mix of holiday songs and fan favourites that celebrates Christmas — East Coast style." See the schedule below.
Meanwhile, Rankin is currently working with returning producer Bill Bell (Danko Jones, Tom Cochrane) on a new solo album, which is due out in April 2014.
