Having found his Back Road Paradise this spring, Canadian songwriting vet Jimmy Rankin is climbing into his cool car and heading out on Canada's back roads and highways for a tour in support of the new LP.
The bulk of the outing will run for a little more than a month from early October to early November. Somewhat surprisingly, Rankin will skip Canada's most populous provinces entirely; his 25 upcoming shows all take place in the Maritimes, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. This includes a one-off date in December.
In a statement, Rankin explained the reason for the slightly unusual itinerary. "We've gotten so much positive response to the songs on this album and lots of requests for more shows within various provinces," he said. "We're digging deep with more tour dates in those places."
See the schedule below.
