Hot Water Music have announced a new album called Vows, arriving May 10 via Equal Vision Records. They're taking the album on the road ahead of its release, but today, the group have shared two new singles ("Menace" and "Burn Forever") to preview the effort.
The album finds Hot Water Music teaming up with producer Brian McTernan, as well as Daniel Fang and Brendan Yates of Turnstile, Thrice, Dallas Green of City and Colour and Alexisonfire, the Interrupters, and Popeye Vogelsang of Calling Hours and Farside.
The band said the following of their forthcoming release in a statement:
The theme that kept coming up while working on this record was growth — how writing a song, recording an album, or being in a band is like planting a seed and helping it grow. We think a lot of that had to do with looking back and realizing that over 30 years, we’ve managed to make something special that we all really love.
Hear HWM's growth in the video for album opener “Menace” below, where you can also see the band's spring/summer 30th anniversary headlining tour schedule — which includes shows in Toronto and Vancouver.
