Holy Fuck will release their new album Deleter this week, and the long-running Canadian group are now giving us a last-minute teaser, as well as adding on a series of tour dates.
Today Holy Fuck have delivered the almost title track "Deleters," which find them teaming up with Liars' Angus Andrew.
In a statement, Holy Fuck had the following to say of the song:
The song "Deleters" started at a party in the woods of rural Quebec. Set up on the forest floor, literally over moss covered tree roots we decided to make up a new hour-long improvised set in front of a crowd of people dancing amongst the trees. From that session two songs emerged and found their way onto the new record. This is the first time we selected a song from the record to also be a title track- but there really isn't a reason for it other than we thought it sounded cool, like a modern version of Fugazi's Repeater or Depeche Mode's Violator (or even Kiss's Destroyer, though in name only). Our friend Angus from Liars doubles Brian's vocals giving the track a nice punch.
Check out "Deleters" below.
As previously reported, Holy Fuck will kick off a tour in late March, making its way to various stops in the U.S., the U.K. Europe and here in Canada. Following previously announced dates in Western Canada, the band have now added a few in Ontario and Quebec.
You can see the updated schedule below.
Deleter will arrive on Friday (January 17) via Last Gang. It marks the full-length follow-up to 2016's Congrats, though the band also released the Bird Brains EP in 2017.
