Though they likely won't fully admit it until the last "OF" donut hoodie is sold at a midwest skate shop, the members of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All have spent 2015 suggesting that their collective has disbanded. Things came to a head further over the weekend when head honcho Tyler, the Creator was put on blast by Hodgy Beats.
Over the weekend, Tyler, the Creator hosted his annual Camp Flog Gnaw festival. As previously reported, a group on the docket was billed OFWGKTA. As it turns out, that wasn't a full-fledged Odd Future reunion but instead a quartet that featured Hodgy alongside Domo Genesis, Left Brain and Mike G.
It's unclear exactly what Hodgy said to upset Tyler during their performance, but something irked the latter performer. When he headlined the fest, Pigeons and Planes reports that Tyler had some stern words for the rapper: "Niggas got me fucked up. I put too many niggas on. I helped too many of my motherfucking friends out. And niggas gonna come foul? And you know who the fuck I'm talking about, nigga. And yes, it's getting real. I love you though."
Watch Tyler, the Creator's onstage comments at the 39:20 mark of the below video.
It didn't end there, however. Yesterday, Hodgy took to Twitter to share some thoughts about the way that Tyler has seemingly moved on from the outfit:
Further, in the comments of this Instagram photo, Hodgy offered a lengthier statement with some pointed jabs:
Call me jealous. Just don't call my phone. Tyler is a fraud. He turned his back on niggas that never crossed him and I'm not just speaking for myself only… Where Earl go? I know he had no part in the carnival… This is a business. Remember that all you see is only brought to your eyes. I know everything that goes on in the background and I respect him enough not to blast that. Just know a young nigga changing faces.
Speaking of Earl Sweatshirt, it's unclear whether or not he was commenting on this feud but he certainly was feeling a little aggressive this morning:
UPDATE (11/16, 5:19p.m.): It looks like these two have already made up. Hodgy Beats posted a video on Instagram that depicts him hanging out with Tyler, the Creator. In it, he says, "Tyler told me to stop being a bitch, so I said a'ight." Watch the clip below.
