Former Harlan Pepper dude Dan Edmonds has unveiled another track from his Softie.
The song "another try" follows lead single "two thirds of a fifth," and it hears Edmonds pushing his songwriting a bit further — into the realm of synths and vocal effects.
Like every song on the upcoming album, "another try" came out of a learning experience, specifically a lesson about second chances after rescuing his dog from drowning.
The track arrives with an accompanying music video, which you can watch down below.
Softie marks Edmonds's second solo album, following 2016's Ladies on the Corner. It's due out November 22.
