Grimes and British DJ Chris Lake have an unreleased collaborative track, which we're now catching wind of thanks to some sneaky concert footage shared by Claire Boucher herself.
The video, which was shot in Utah, offers up about 45 seconds of a so far-unidentified song. Additional fan-shot clips reveal a bass-heavy EDM track with Grimes helming the vocals. Along with sharing a clip of the track, Grimes has also asked her followers, "Should we release this?"
Neither artist has shared further recordings of the song, but multiple fan videos reveal a very club-ready tune akin to the remixes contained within Grimes' Rave Edition of her 2020 album Miss Anthropocene. If the pair do decide to put out the track, it will mark Grimes' first release since dropping her Miss Anthropocene remixes back in January.
