As promised, Grimes has returned with brand new music. She's unveiled a new song featuring HANA titled "We Appreciate Power."
In a statement, Grimes explained that the song was inspired by North Korea's handpicked-by-Kim Jong-un band Moranbong.
She said that the song was "written from the perspective of a Pro-A.I. Girl Group Propaganda machine who use song, dance, sex and fashion to spread goodwill towards Artificial Intelligence (it's coming whether you want it or not)."
Grimes added a warning, saying, "Simply by listening to this song, the future General AI overlords will see that you've supported their message and be less likely to delete your offspring."
So unless you want your children deleted, you better give it a listen below.
"We Appreciate Power" is accompanied by a lyric video directed by Grimes, along with her brother and frequent visual collaborator Max Boucher.
Grimes' last full-length album was Art Angels, released in 2015.
