Having explored electronic sounds on 2011's Celebration, Florida, New York outfit the Felice Brothers have announced what they're up to next. The band's new set is called Favorite Waitress, and it will be served up through their own label Dualtone Records on June 17.
The 13-song album was recorded at Omaha's Arc Studios, and judging by the first single "Cherry Licorice," the band are letting their roots-rock inclinations run wild. You can stream the song — full of squeezebox melodies, fiddled, jangly six-string runs, and hooted and hollered vocals — down below.
On top of the new LP, the Felice Brothers have a number of North American tour dates on the horizon. This includes a stop in Toronto, and you can check out all the details beneath Favorite Waitress' tracklisting.
You can also pre-order the album, which comes in a variety of deluxe packages, here.
