Elvis Costello has returned with another new single. You can hear "Hetty O'Hara Confidential" below.
Arriving alongside another lyric video from Eamon Singer and Arlo O'Furlow, "Hetty O'Hara Confidential" follows Costello's "No Flag," which saw release in June. His latest single centres on "the tale of a tattler who outlives her time."
Like "No Flag," "Hetty O'Hara Confidential" was recorded at Suomenlinnan Studio in Helsinki, Finland. Costello previously explained that he took a trip to the Finnish capital because he "wanted to go somewhere nobody knew me."
A press release points to another new single arriving August 14. Costello's last studio album was 2018's Look Now, with backing band the Imposters.
