The prolific Toronto MC DijahSB has announced their third album, led by two new singles: "Don't Touch!" and "I'm Blooming."
The Flower That Knew blooms on November 17 via Lowly. It follows this summer's Tasty Raps Vol. 2 and a series of other EPs and mixtapes — as well as the rapper's last full-length release, 2021's landmark Head Above the Waters.
Of the double single, Dijah said, "These two tracks are essential to the theme of this album, I'm excited to have this album out. I'm turning 30. I feel like I'm going to be stepping into a new era and this album will help usher me in."
While "Don't Touch!" is an Anderson .Paak-esque bouncer, "I'm Blooming" sees the rapper re-iterate their flora metaphor-rich message — don't come between them and their growth, damn it! — in a more laidback, jazzy groove pocket. Hear both tracks below.
