Now that Deafheaven have detailed their upcoming Anti- Records debut, New Bermuda, the California black metal experimenters have announced that they're shuttling off on a full North American tour this fall to support the set.
News of the trip arrived through the group today (August 4), with Deafheaven confirming the tour schedule over Facebook. While the album lands October 2, its supporting tour will begin a couple of weeks later out in San Diego. They'll make Canadian appearances in Vancouver on October 20 and in Toronto on November 1 before ricocheting back to the West Coast and closing out the tour back in Southern California.
Additionally, Swedish Children of the Night Tribulation will be joining Deafheaven the whole trip, while Japanese post-rock institution Envy are on-board for a handful of dates. You'll find all of the date and venue specifics down below.
As previously reported, New Bermuda is Deafheaven's first LP since their 2013 breakthrough, Sunbather. It was recorded as a five-piece at various California studios with producer/mixer Jack Shirley.
