Having wrapped a joint tour with fellow Canadians Cancer Bats back in October, Winnipeg hardcore vets Comeback Kid have just announced plans for a new EP. Arriving via New Damage RecordsTrouble is out March 15, 2024, and the band are previewing the record today with "Trouble in the Winner's Circle."

"'Trouble in the Winner's Circle' is about public meltdowns," vocalist Andrew Neufeld shared in a release. "Having the world crashing down on you on display for the masses to see, like peering into a fishbowl. It's a tongue and cheek rock anthem driving its point to the bitter end."

The track arrives alongside a video directed by Daniel Priess, which sees the band performing from inside a fishbowl at an underground fight club. Watch that below, where you can also find the EP's tracklist.

Trouble was produced and recorded by the band and John Paul Peters (Cancer Bats, Propagandhi) at Private Ear Recording in Winnipeg. It was mixed and mastered by Will Putney (Knocked Loose, Every Time I Die).

The EP is said to offer "an almost palette cleanser from past material, leaning more upbeat, but still carrying the hard-hitting aggression they're known for," according to press materials.
