Legendary metal unit Brutal Truth's time is apparently almost up, with leader Dan Lilker having recently announced the band's impending breakup. Before they call it quits, though, the band are blasting our ears and burning our retinas with the noise-scored new video for their "The Stroy."
The video for the song, taken from Brutal Truth's The Axiom of Post-Humanity split with Bastard Noise, finds a series of mirror image refractions of band members slinging licks and screaming into a mic. The visuals may not exactly line up with the tune's drone-driven assault of white noise and bird chirps, but you get the picture either way. Fittingly, you also get to see the calming silhouette of a pretty songbird.
You can sample the multimedia explosion down below.
As for Brutal Truth's immediate plans, they have a few European festival dates coming up in May, which you can see detailed down below. They're expected to be put to pasture on October 18, which is Lilker's 50th birthday.
Tour dates:
05/02 Bristol, UK - Temples Festival
05/03 Tilburg, NL - Neurotic Deathfest
05/21 Clisson, France - Hellfest
