Blue Rodeo frontman Jim Cuddy has announced that he'll share a new solo album for the first time in over five years with All the World Fades Away, due out June 14 via 5 Corners Productions and Warner Music Canada.

The forthcoming 12-track LP will mark his first full-length effort since 2019's Countrywide Soul.

"You sort of enter a dream state when you begin writing. And I've begun to wonder why some images have stayed with me over the years and others haven't. So yes, this album is about looking back," he said. "However, I tried to make sure the record is affirming of life as it is now, reflecting how much I like where I'm at today. It's not wrapping up or being nostalgic for old times. It's just… surveying."

To celebrate the project, he'll also embark on a sprawling national tour behind it, kicking off on June 15 in Niagara's Vineland, ON, and visiting eight provinces in six months en route to a final show on December 1 in Brantford, ON. Tickets can be found at Cuddy's official site, where they'll go on sale May 10 at 10 a.m. local time.

Cuddy previewed All the World Fades Away with the lead single "Learn to Live Alone" today along with an accompanying music video directed by Jenn Grant, who also provides vocals on "Scars."
