After delivering their Grace Street LP last year, Big Wreck are set to reflect on their 1997 debut effort In Loving Memory Of with a massive 20th anniversary tour.
The 35-date North American tour will see the band play the record in its entirety, along with other fan favourites from their catalogue. The trek will keep Big Wreck on the road throughout January, February and March, as well as in a big pile of Canadian cities.
"It was obviously an important album for us because it was our first, and really put us on the map" frontman Ian Thornley said in a statement. "I think the record stands up today as well as it did then. The songs still resonate with us as much as the more recent albums. It will be fun to play a lot of these older songs that we wouldn't get a chance to play in another setting, and a great opportunity for fans to hear them live. Can't believe it's been twenty years!"
In Loving Memory Of spawned hits "The Oaf (My Luck Is Wasted)," "That Song" and "Blown Wide Open." Tickets go on sale to the general public November 10 at 10 a.m. local time. Further information on ticketing and VIP packages can be found here.
