A lot of people remain cordial with their exes, but few get up to bat for one another quite like divorced Cancon rockers Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger. Earlier today, we reported that Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg had programmed his AI robot to avoid playing Nickelback in his home. Now, Lavigne has stepped in to defend her ex-hubby's band.
In a tweet addressed to Facebook, Lavigne explained that while the Zuck is entitled to his opinion, his Nickelback jab is in poor taste. Further, she claimed that the anti-Nickelback video promoted bullying.
This is not the first time Lavigne has stepped in to defend her former lover. Earlier this year, she told E! News to "grow up" when they reported on a poll that compared the popularity of Nickelback to that of Donald Trump.
Read the open letter below. Now we're praying for a Christmas miracle that sees Chad and Avril get back together again.
