Swedish metal greats At the Gates have offered up another unreal video as part of the promo campaign behind their 2014 reunion LP, At War with Reality. This time, you can soak in the bleak animated visuals crafted to support the record's gloom-stomp, "The Night Eternal."
Witness, if you will, artist Costin Chioreanu's landscapes of inky and ominous ruins, and the menacing, shadowy figures contained within. The filmmaker noted in a statement that the tune "speaks about the dark side of human nature and about the tragedy of living now, in a moment when any possible tool for hiding it becomes futile."
Despite the depths on display, it's a pretty creepy and claustrophobic video. You'll find it below.
At the Gates have unveiled more tour dates behind At War with Reality, though none of them are in Canada. All the same, you can check out their current global schedule over here.
