Reunited Vancouver scene heroes Apollo Ghosts are preparing to release their double album Pink Tiger. Having already shared a track from the rock-oriented Tiger side, they've now shared title track "Pink Tiger," which comes from the more acoustic Pink half of the album.
"Pink Tiger" is a beautiful patchwork of acoustic plucking, resonant piano chords, shimmering synth tones and singer-guitarist tender, conversational crooning.
In the accompanying Super 8 video — filmed and directed by Paolo Davanzo and cub's Lisa Marr — Apollo Ghosts go flower picking and lay peacefully in a park. It's a fitting accompaniment for the pastoral tune. Watch it below.
Pink Tiger is out March 11 through You've Changed Records.
