Animal Collective won't be heading out on their European/UK tour next month, so instead, they're offering international fans a chance to see them perform live virtually with a new SiriusXMU session.

During the live taping, they covered Silver Jews' Starlite Walker track "Trains Across the Sea" and played unreleased live favourite "Genie's Open." During the session, they also performed Time Skiffs offerings "Prester John" and "Passer-by," as well as Merriweather Post Pavilion's "Bluish."

After wrapping up their North American tour last month in Montreal following several performances across Canada, the band were due to head across the pond for more dates. Like many musicians have elected to do in recent months, they announced that they would not be completing the run due to financial strains, namely inflation, currency devaluation and "bloated shipping and transportation costs."

Back in July, Panda, Avey, Geologist and Deakin also hit up NPR's Tiny Desk. Watch them blend "Genie's Open" and "Trains Across the Sea" in their latest live sesh below.
