Adrianne Lenker has shared a four-song performance film, recorded for the new-ish platform Brodie Sessions, that features her playing a selection of Bright Future tracks alongside collaborator Nick Hakim.
Recorded this past spring outside Copenhagen during her sold-out European tour, the video finds Lenker performing these songs as a solo artist for the first time. The session was captured in just one take on 16mm film, with Lenker saying during her performance that, "I feel like we are in a spaceship… In a good way."
Lenker dropped her latest solo album Bright Future back in March — it was one of our favourite albums of 2024 so far. Last month, Lenker shared the new single "Once a Bunch."
