Rumours surrounding AC/DC's next album have been swirling for ages, but it appears the long-in-the-works project may be finally ready for public consumption. Over the weekend, images leaked from what appears to be a new music video from the band, giving fans hope the new record is coming soon — and confirming the group's current lineup.

Late Friday (September 18), AC/DC fan site AC/DC Brasil shared multiple photos that were posted to the band's official website before being quickly removed by the group. As you can see via the captured images below, they show frontman Brian Johnson joined by drummer Phil Rudd, bassist Cliff Williams, and guitarists Angus and Stevie Young.

According to the fan site, the photos were taken earlier this year in the Netherlands, but at this point, we don't know much else about the images. It's definitely a suspicious, though, that the band would have posted and then removed them so quickly.

Check out the photos below.

Rumours about a new AC/DC album have been swirling ever since the band were photographed exiting a Vancouver recording studio way back in 2018. This was followed by confirmation in 2019 from the group's sound engineer that they were indeed in the studio working on new material, adding that Brian Johnson would likely be handling vocals. Troubled drummer Phil Rudd was also rumoured to be back in the band.

Then back in January of this year, Australian radio host Eddie McGuire said AC/DC would be releasing their new album either in February or March, following it up by a world tour. Of course, this never happened — most likely due to the ongoing global pandemic. Close friend Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, in fact, recently said the album and tour were indeed postponed due to COVID-19.

As previously reported, the as-yet-untitled new album is said to feature unused guitar tracks from late AC/DC guitarist Malcolm Young.

AC/DC's last album remains 2014's Rock or Bust.
