We knew the world of John Wick would expand with The Continental, and the first trailer for the prequel series has now arrived.
Set in 1970s New York City, The Continental stars Colin Woodell as a young Winston Scott, and explores how the character came to run the hotel-for-assassins prominently featured in the John Wick universe.
The first tease, which you can watch below, finds Mel Gibson explaining that Scott's brother, Frankie, has stolen "something very important to a lot of dangerous people." Rather than give the stolen object back, the two plot to take the titular hotel by force, with all the firepower and furious physical combat John Wick fans have come to expect.
Set to air on Peacock in the US, The Continental's three parts will be available in Canada via Amazon Prime Video on September 22.
