The Simpsons has officially unveiled its next crossover project for Disney+, and just as we thought, the town of Springfield is heading to the MCU.
Today the streamer announced it will roll out a Marvel-themed Simpsons short called The Good, The Bart, and The Loki on July 7. It will even feature Loki himself, Tom Hiddleston, voicing the God of Mischief.
According to Disney, the short will find Loki banished from Asgard (again) and sent to face off against the biggest heroes Springfield has to offer.
The short will mark the second crossover project from The Simpsons at Disney+, who previously gave us a special Star Wars short called Maggie Simpson in the Force Awakens from Its Nap.
As previously reported, showrunner and co-writer Al Jean said more crossover projects would be headed our way, and considering the fact The Simpsons will never end, get ready for a lot more of them.
