The 'Friends' Reunion Just Got an Official Trailer

BY Allie GregoryPublished May 19, 2021

With the official Friends reunion only a matter of days away from its premiere at HBO Max, the streamer has unveiled a brand new extended trailer, laying out how the long-anticipated special will take shape next week.

The latest promo clip sees the return of the show's original cast — Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer — who do some group crying and laughing, reminiscing about their time on the iconic '90s show that launched all of their careers and, uh, some deep-dive Friends trivia.

From the new trailer, it looks like the six best buds will return to the series' most memorable locations, discuss fan-favourite moments, talk about some behind-the-scenes tidbits, take more Friends selfies and revisit that historic Ross-Rachel romance.

The reunion special is being directed by Ben Winston, and it will feature a massive amount of guests, including David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.

Friends: The Reunion will arrive at HBO Max on May 27.
