Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat Praises Donald Trump as the "Strongest Premier in History" in New Teaser

Now that we know Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat sequel is definitely a thingheading straight to Amazon Prime in the days before the American election, no less — the first teaser has landed, just minutes before last night's U.S. presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

The satirical clip surfaced yesterday (September 29) from a fake "Republic of Kazakhstan" Twitter account. The post is captioned, "Congratulation to great friend of the Kazakh people [Donald Trump] for winning debate today" and is filled with jokey praise for the president.

In the clip, Cohen is heard in character calling Trump the "strongest premier in history" and "not racist" as images of the president's many foibles are documented onscreen.

"Black guys love him so much they kneel before him," says Cohen. "Trump never had stroke. He protector of women. He hero of war. Biden's breath so bad he forced to wear mask. Because of Trump, 350 million Americans still alive. Trump never had stroke. Vote for Premier Trump or you will be crushed."

In the end, the video reads, "This ad may contain false statements."

As previously reported, the film will be released on October 23, and its full title is likely Borat: Gift of Pornographic Monkey to Vice Premiere Mikhael Pence to Make Benefit Recently Diminished Nation of Kazakhstan. Rumours of the sequel first began to surface this summer, when Cohen almost got arrested for trying to interview Rudy Giuliani in a pink bikini.
