The New 'Borat' Movie Is Coming Out on Amazon Prime Video This Fall

BY Josiah HughesPublished Sep 29, 2020

Sacha Baron Cohen has not-so-secretly shot Borat sequel, and one that reportedly has a ridiculous name to boot. Now, we've learned that the movie will come out on Amazon Prime Video next month.

According to Deadline, the new movie was picked up by Amazon and is set to premiere on October 23.

The title has not been publicly confirmed, but The Film Stage reported on a previous Writers Guild of America filing that has since been deleted. The filing listed the film as Borat: Gift of Pornographic Monkey to Vice Premiere Mikhael Pence to Make Benefit Recently Diminished Nation of Kazakhstan.

The film was made during the COVID-19 shutdown, and while we have no official information, plot-wise it's safe to say that it will be absolutely insane.

Stay tuned for more details as we approach the release date.
