Nicolas Cage is heading to Netflix to host the streamer's new series, History of Swear Words. The unscripted comedy will debut on January 5.
The new six-part series will "explore the origins, pop culture-usage, science and cultural impact of curse words," according to Deadline.
"Soon you'll learn the history of something so potent, so crucial, so vital to our culture. The f*cking sh*t we live for," Netflix wrote in a statement. "History of Swear Words with Nicolas Cage is coming to Netflix January 5, motherf*ckers."
The series will also feature guest stars Nick Offerman, Sarah Silverman, Joel Kim Booster, Jim Jefferies, Nikki Glaser, DeRay Davis, Open Mike Eagle, Patti Harrison, London Hughes, Zainab Johnson, Baron Vaughn, and Isiah Whitlock Jr., as well as many experts in the field of swear words.
History of Swear Words was produced by Funny or Die and B17 Entertainment.
