Ryan Murphy's long-awaited adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical The Prom is about to hit Netflix, and we've finally got a proper taste via the film's new trailer.
We already knew that it featured a Meryl Streep rap verse, but we can now add a horrible American accent from James Corden and the use of the phrase "interweb" to things that give us embarrassment chills from the trailer.
Other than those aspects, however, The Prom looks pretty damn endearing as it follows the story of some failing Broadway stars who travel to Indiana to help throw an LGBT prom after a cruel PTA head (Kerry Washington) shuts them down.
