Last August, David Letterman revealed plans to come out of retirement to host a new talk show on Netflix. Now, the streaming service has lifted the curtain on the details behind the series.
The first episode of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman will hit the service January 12, with a new instalment made available each subsequent month. The first series features six 60-minute episodes in total, each "centered around one extraordinary figure whom Dave finds fascinating."
Netflix has also revealed Letterman's lineup of guests, which includes George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, JAY-Z, Tina Fey, Howard Stern and former United States president Barack Obama. Obama will be the inaugural guest on the show's first episode, marking his first television talk show appearance since leaving office.
