The Bear just got a boost of star power, as it's been revealed that Better Call Saul/Breaking Bad star Bob Odenkirk has reportedly joined the cast for Season 2.
As per Variety's reporting, the actor will appear in the lauded series in a guest role capacity. Odenkirk's representation has not commented on the casting, and his character's details are being kept under wraps for now.
Season 2 is due to arrive on FX in June.
The series also stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Edwin Lee Gibson, Corey Hendrix, Matty Matheson, Richard Esteras and Jose M. Cervantes.
Incidentally, Exclaim!'s 9/10 review of The Bear Season 1 contrasted the series against Better Call Saul, noting that, like Odenkirk's magnum opus, "it's hard to define The Bear as either comedy or drama." The Bear was also named Exclaim!'s Best TV Show of 2022.
