Zammuto Reveals 'Anchor' LP, North American Tour

A former member of the Books, Nick Zammuto has spent recent years focused on his Zammuto solo project. After an Indiegogo campaign for the project last year, the artist has announced the release of his sophomore LP.

The album is called Anchor, and the album was recorded, mixed and mastered by the artist himself at his recently converted garage studio (pictured on the album cover above).

As a press release explains, "The arrangements have more space, the songs are more dynamic, and the vocals are delivered with a confident intimacy that is almost alarmingly beautiful."

The write-up adds that "Anchor embodies the very DIY lifestyle and self-sufficient approach that has come to define all that is Zammuto." That said, he's not alone — the album also includes vocal contribution from Snowblink's Daniela Gesundheit.

Temporary Residence Ltd. will drop Anchor on September 2. You can stream the new song "Great Equator" below.

Zammuto also has a North American tour in the works, including stops in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Give the itinerary a gander below.
