Atlanta rapper Young Thug has released a new album. Business Is Business arrives via Atlantic Records / 300 Entertainment today as he awaits trial in prison on racketeering charges.
Produced by Metro Boomin, the album features guest appearances by Drake, 21 Savage, Coi Leray, Yak Gotti, Travis Scott and others.
The rapper teased the album last week with a QR code leading to the album art, which shows Young Thug in court surrounded by his co-defendants. The QR code was shared and made viral by Gunna, Metro Boomin, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Wheezy, G Herbo, Coi Leray, Lil Durk, 21 Savage, Southside and more.
Young Thug was arrested on gang-related charges, including drug and gun possession and receiving stolen property in Georgia back in May, along with Gunna, Deamonte "Yak Gotti" Kendrick and over 20 others, all part of the Young Stoner Life (YSL) collective, a gang co-founded by Young Thug. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
Many of Young Thug's co-defendants, including Gunna, have settled their cases and been released while Young Thug awaits trial. However, being in jail hasn't stopped the rapper from being featured on several recently released songs — including Yeat's "My Wrist," Killer Mike's "Run" and Calvin Harris's "Potion" — and being nominated for two Grammys.
Business Is Business is Young Thug's first full-length release since 2021's Punk. Listen to the album below.
