Returning for its second year, the free It's Ok* World music festival will take Toronto's Trillium Park to a plane of transcendence this August 24 and 25, transforming the green space into a vibrant hub of music, art and local vendors as part of the park's SummerSeries.
Yaya Bey, Anthony OKS, LOKRE, Zenesoul, IAMNOBODI, Rayana Jay, Dee Diggs, Kafayé, Miles Freedom, Nino Brown, Soji and IamSeTdoe are all set to perform at the event, which is being put on by It's Ok* Studios, a newly opened independent, Black-led multidisciplinary arts space in the city's Queen West neighbourhood.
It's Ok* World will happen rain or shine, on a first-come, first-served basis. Organizers note that the venue is accessible, although there will be loud music and lighting effects at various parts. Alcohol will be sold, as well as food by Burger Drops.
