Once the King of the Beach, Wavves mastermind Nathan Williams is now a man in the desert. Or at least that's the case in his music video for the new single "Sinking Feeling" — the project's first new material since 2017.
The song has arrived via a new video from director Jesse Lirola, and the clip finds Williams cruising through the desert in a convertible.
As for the track itself, it's a slower, slinkier tune built on surfy guitars. It was produced by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek.
In a statement, Williams said: "'Sinking Feeling' is a song about a wave of depression that keeps coming back. its that sinking feeling that drags you down and no matter what you do or where you go it follows you."
