Feel old yet? Wavves' career-defining 2010 album King of the Beach is more than a decade old, and since they weren't able to celebrate the album on the road in 2020 (for reasons that should be obvious by now), the band are just now mapping out a supplementary 10th anniversary tour.
The 31-date trek will kick off in July, starting with a trio of shows around the band's native California. From there, they'll head out through the West Coast, later making their way east to Toronto on August 6. That show will serve as the only Canadian date on the trek. Everything wraps up back in California on August 27 at Los Angeles's 1720.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday (April 22) at 10 a.m. local time, while a presale is currently accessible using the password "KINGOFTHEBEACH."
The band's last album was 2021's Hideaway, though it remains unclear if they'll be playing tracks off that album during the upcoming tour, or sticking to the classics. Back in 2020, they announced a reissue of KotB, which was packaged with new cover art featuring the image of Macaulay Culkin from Home Alone.
