Wavves Announce North American Tour with Twin Peaks
Published Jun 22, 2015While Wavves put on a clinic at Toronto's Bestival earlier in the month, the California act have revealed they'll be coming back up to Canada this fall on a tour with Twin Peaks.
Wavves leader Nathan Williams revealed the joint tour plans earlier today (June 22) over Twitter, with a tour poster confirming the trip starts off in early September. While primarily finding the acts performing in the U.S., they head to Toronto's Opera House on September 27.
Opening on select dates will be Oakland beach punks Swimmers and Boston's Steep-Leans. You'll find all of the tour info down below.
Wavves last LP was 2013's Afraid of Heights, while the band have a full-length collaboration with Cloud Nothings called No Life for Me on the way sometime in the future.
UPDATE: Following the tour announcement, Williams tweeted that he expects to issue two Wavves albums this summer, "one in june...and one in august." It's unclear at present if this includes the aforementioned No Life For Me. It also means that the first of the two albums could pop up any day, now.
