Her hometown of Ottawa might not get a White Christmas this year (h/t: global warming), but Alanis Morissette is in the holiday spirit nonetheless.
Fresh on the heels of sharing a four-track EP of classic holiday covers, the legendary singer took to Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show this weekend to perform her version of Wham!'s "Last Christmas," which, made entirely her own via her unique tone, she crushed.
Morissette's EP, titled after the classic Wham! track, also includes covers of John Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)," "Little Drummer Boy" and "What Child Is This."
The cover previews a busy year ahead for Morissette, who's bringing her musical based on Jagged Little Pill to Kitchener, ON, in the spring before heading on a North American tour from June to August.
