Danish metal-rockabilly act Volbeat have announced that they're parting ways with (ex-Anthrax) guitarist Rob Caggiano, who has been in the band since 2013.

"After ten incredible years we must sadly announce that Volbeat and Rob Caggiano have parted ways," the band wrote in a statement shared on social media. "During our time together we've travelled the world sharing great experiences and released four albums [2013's Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies, 2016's Seal the Deal & Let's Boogie, 2019's Rewind, Replay, Rebound, and 2021's Servant of the Mind] that we are immensely proud of, and we wouldn't change a moment of it."

They added, "We wish our brother Rob all the best with everything he does in the future (we know it's going to be great)!"

Volbeat went on to say that the "herculean task" of filling Caggiano's spot on stage will be undertaken by the Arcane Order's Flemming C. Lund. The new guitarist will be in tow when the band kick off their North American tour with Halestorm next month, which will bring them back to Canada for the first time since 2019.
