Valley Announce Third Album 'Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden'

It's their first LP since the departure of guitarist Mickey Brandolino

Toronto pop troupe Valley have announced their third studio album, Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden, set for release on August 30 through Universal Music / Capitol Records.

The follow-up to last year's Lost in Translation, it marks the now-trio's first record since guitarist Mickey Brandolino's departure, which the band announced in March.

The product description for pre-orders of Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden on physical formats is a note from Valley that reads:

Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden serves as a powerful metaphor for the ways in which we nurture our connections with others and life around us. By recognizing the cyclic nature of life and embracing the transformative power of death and rebirth, we cultivate resilience, empathy, and a profound understanding of our interconnectedness. Recorded deep in the smoky mountains over the course of a month, we truly captured a special moment in time. We're so proud of this album and what it has taught us about being a band, but more importantly, being humans.

Ahead of the title track's release at midnight, listen to latest single "When You Know Someone" — which sees drummer Karah James rip the harmonica from behind the kit — below. There, you'll also find the album tracklist.
