Toronto-based dream pop duo Twin Rains released their latest single, "Strawberry Moon," earlier this month on Rough Trade Publishing and Bank Robber Music's massive Talk - Action = Zero compilation, which raised over $12,000 for Minnesota's Black Visions Collective. Now, Twin Rains have released a new video for the song.
The track is a psychedelic slab of dream pop, recalling the likes of Beach House, Weyes Blood and Cocteau Twins. The video, directed by Toronto video artist Philip Baljeu, fittingly features grainy clips of faces superimposed by layers of pink-hued patterns and oscillations.
"Strawberry Moon" is also the lead single from Twin Rains' forthcoming sophomore album, Unreal City, due later this year. The album is the follow-up to 2016's Automatic Hand.
