Brussels electro post-punks TUKAN have commemorated their time in Quebec this summer with a new single. A staple track from their live set has been released for streaming as "Noranda," named after Rouyn-Noranda, QC, which hosts Festival de Musique Émergente annually.
The band's three sets were the highlight of this year's festivities, and by their final — and secret — all-encompassing performance, they had become the talk of the mining town.
"This track has already taken an important slot in our live set for months now. Its name comes from this little town in Quebec where we played at FME three days in a row last summer, and where we felt amazingly at the right place and at the right moment," TUKAN wrote on Instagram.
"This track is also a perfect synthesis of our sound, combining floating atmospheric texture and danceable elements," they continued.
