Following recent soundtrack releases for Dawn of the Dead and Queen of Earth, Waxwork Records is keeping its prolific streak going with yet another new release. This time, though, it's for the label's comics wing, with the debut release of POSER headed our way.

As is the case with Waxwork comics, the debut issue will come with a new 7-inch, featuring a companion soundtrack by Toxic Holocaust leader Joel Grind. It features the new tracks "Poser Theme" (described as "Blag Flag meets John Carpenter") and "The Gig" ("Discharge meets Tangerine Dream"). And right now, you can stream both below to know what's in store on the blue/black-coloured slab of wax.

As for the POSER comic itself, it is penned by Matt Miner and illustrated by Clay McCormack. It features colors by Doug Garbark and Letters by Taylor Esposito.

"Long thought to be an urban legend in the underground music scene of Redondo Beach, POSER is back to carve a gory slash through the heart of Los Angeles in this brand new multi-issue horror-comic book series," states a press release.

You can order the debut issue now over here at Waxwork.
