Having been on television for what feels like millions of years, The Simpsons has touched on just about every pop culture property by now. But they hadn't yet poked fun at Morrissey or the Smiths, and they'll rectify that this weekend.
The new episode is called "Panic on the Streets of Springfield," and it sees Lisa get a new imaginary friend — a depressed, former indie singer from 1980s Britain.
Since it'd be a little too loaded to get the actual Moz on board, the show has hired a much less controversial figure to voice him — Benedict Cumberbatch.
