The National have announced details of a North American tour, marking their first trek around the continent since the fall of 2019.
The 23-date run predominantly features festival shows, with support from Bartees Strange, Japanese Breakfast and Lucy Dacus on select dates.
Following a previously announced July appearance at RBC Bluesfest 2022 in Ottawa, two additional stops come in Western Canada in August.
On August 6, the National play the Edmonton Folk Festival at Gallagher Park, ahead of an August 7 performance at Calgary's Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium with Bartees Strange.
"We are excited to finally share our full tour itinerary for summer 2022," the National said in a statement. "The last couple years have given us ample time for reflection and rejuvenation. Summer 2022 is a time for reunion. We look forward to gathering with friends, old and new. United in music and light, suspended in time. We hope you can join us."
Tickets for all North American dates go on sale April 1 at 10 a.m. local time. You can find the National's complete itinerary below, and further ticketing and performance details via their official website.
