Last month, the Gaslamp Killer was met with some serious allegations when Twitter user @chelseaelaynne accused him of raping her and friend RaeAn on July 5, 2013. The artist born William Benjamin Bensussen denied the allegations in a statement, and now he's getting his lawyers involved.
According to TMZ, Bensussen has filed a defamation lawsuit against Chelsea, RaeAn and one of the women's boyfriends. The musician claims that he has a witness who can confirm that he bought drinks for the women without any tampering. Further, Bensussen claims that they had a consensual threesome.
Bensussen is suing for defamation, seeking a reported $5 million USD. When the story first broke, he had a number of Gaslamp Killer gigs cancelled.
